Term Definition
NTRIP Networked Transport of RTCM via Internet Protocol — a protocol for streaming GNSS correction data over the internet.
RTCM Radio Technical Commission for Maritime Services — the standard message format for GNSS correction data.
RTK Real-Time Kinematic — a GNSS positioning technique using correction data to achieve centimeter-level accuracy.
NMEA National Marine Electronics Association — a standard text-based protocol for GNSS receiver output.
GGA An NMEA sentence type carrying fix data (time, position, fix quality).
RMC An NMEA sentence type carrying minimum recommended navigation data (position, velocity, time).
HPR An NMEA sentence type expected to be output as GNHPR carrying GNSS-derived orientation data from a dual antenna configuration.
MSM7 Multiple Signal Message type 7 — a high-resolution RTCM3 observation message format.
FBL Firmware Bootloader — the mode the H1P enters to apply a firmware upgrade.
DFU Device Firmware Update — a boot mode used for low-level firmware recovery.
NCM Network Control Model — a USB class that presents a network adapter without a dedicated driver.
IMU Inertial Measurement Unit — combined accelerometer and gyroscope sensor.
LNA Low-Noise Amplifier — used in active GNSS antennas to boost signal before the receiver.
GNSS Global Navigation Satellite System — the umbrella term for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, etc.
