Troubleshooting

USB-to-UART Driver / COM Ports

  • Missing COM Ports: Verify the physical connection at the USB-to-UART bridge port and reseat the USB cable.

  • Fewer Than 4 COM Ports in Device Manager: Windows may not have automatically assigned drivers to all bridge channels. Open Device Manager and manually run driver installation for each unidentified device individually (see Section 3.1).

WebUI / USB-NCM Interface

  • WebUI Page Fails to Load http://192.168.7.1: Confirm the cable is connected to the native USB interface port (USB_M) and EVB is power on.

  • Network Adapter Not Recognized: If the NCM network adapter does not appear in Windows Network Connections, try a different USB cable or motherboard port, then reconnect

Firmware Upgrade

  • Upload Stalls or Fails: Do not close or refresh the browser tab immediately. Wait a few moments, reload the WebUI page, and retry the update.

  • Board Unresponsive After Upgrade: Wait at least 30 seconds before power-cycling or assuming a flash failure; the Flash Bootloader (FBL) process requires this time to finalize firmware writing and reboot.

  • No Satellites in Skyplot Post-Upgrade: Verify that the GNSS antenna is securely connected and powered (see Section 2.2.2) before troubleshooting firmware integrity.

NTRIP / RTK

  • No Incoming Data Stream (0 Bytes Received): Verify the SERVER IP/domain, PORT, MOUNTPOINT, and login credentials in the NTRIP Client settings.

  • Incoming Bytes Active but No RTK Correction Output:

  • Confirm the target COM port and baud rate are correctly selected under RTCM OUTPUT PORTS.

  • Ensure no other application (e.g., terminal, another H-center window, or legacy tool) is locking the selected COM port

  • Position Solution Stays at Single (1), DGPS (2) or Float (5):

  • Confirm that GGA SOURCE transmission is enabled so the caster can identify your location and stream appropriate base station corrections.

  • Ensure clear sky view and allow sufficient convergence time for an RTK FIXED solution.
